VCI Global organized a meaningful charity visit to Yayasan Sunbeams Home, located in Taman Mawar, Kuala Lumpur. Our team of seven volunteers visited this remarkable organization that supports underprivileged children, including orphans and those who have experienced abuse and neglect. We were warmly welcomed by 91 children and 45 dedicated staff members who work tirelessly to provide a safe and nurturing environment for these vulnerable young lives.

On 12 February 2025, we came prepared with substantial support for the home, donating RM15,000 in cash to help with their ongoing operational needs. Additionally, we brought essential items that would directly improve the children's daily comfort and well-being, including 100 single bedsheets, 100 pillowcases, 20 mattresses, 10 food trays with covers, 3 hot water thermos dispensers, and school uniforms. These practical donations were carefully selected based on the home's specific needs to ensure our contribution would have the most meaningful impact on the children's quality of life.

In conjunction with Chinese New Year celebrations, we organized festive activities to bring joy and cultural richness to the children's lives. We arranged for a vibrant lion dance performance that captivated everyone present, filling the atmosphere with traditional music, colorful costumes, and energetic movements. The children's faces lit up with wonder and excitement as they watched the spectacular performance, creating an authentic celebration that honored the cultural significance of the lunar new year.
