VCI Global proudly partnered with Make-A-Wish Malaysia to host the Annual Charity Golf Tournament 2025 on 7 May 2025 at Tropicana Golf & Country Resort in Selangor. This special event combined our love for sport with meaningful charitable giving, creating an opportunity to support the organization's mission of granting life-changing wishes for children with critical illnesses. The tournament brought together golf enthusiasts from across the community who were eager to contribute to this worthy cause while enjoying a day of friendly competition on the beautiful golf course.

We organized the tournament with participating golfers and sponsors who demonstrated their commitment to the cause by self-funding their participation at RM6,000 per flight of four golfers. This substantial contribution model ensured that all proceeds would directly support the fulfillment of wishes for children battling critical illnesses, maximizing the charitable impact of the event. The afternoon tee-off format allowed participants to enjoy optimal playing conditions while contributing to a cause that brings hope, strength, and joy to some of the most vulnerable members of our community.

We deployed eight dedicated volunteers from VCI Global throughout the tournament grounds to ensure smooth operations and enhance the overall experience for all participants. Our volunteers took on essential roles including manning hydration stations to keep golfers refreshed during their rounds, managing lucky draw ticket sales to add excitement and increase fundraising potential, and assisting with dinner setup preparations for the post-tournament celebration. These hands-on contributions demonstrated our commitment to going beyond financial support to provide practical assistance that made the event successful.

Our volunteers provided comprehensive on-ground support throughout the entire tournament, helping with various logistics and ensuring that both golfers and organizers had everything they needed for a successful event. Their enthusiastic participation and professional approach contributed significantly to the positive atmosphere of the day, while also representing VCI Global's values of community service and collaborative partnership. The seamless coordination between our volunteers and Make-A-Wish Malaysia staff created an efficient and enjoyable experience for all involved.
